Responsibilities:
Retrieve items from designated storage areas based on pick lists or work orders.
Accurately pick and pack items for shipment according to established procedures and guidelines.
Ensure that items are properly labeled, packaged, and prepared for shipping to customers.
Conduct quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards before shipping.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the picking and packaging area.
Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and stock replenishment.
Communicate any issues or discrepancies with inventory or orders to the appropriate supervisor.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse operations preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling items and orders.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Basic math skills and ability to use handheld devices or scanners for inventory management.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends if required.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
