You will be responsible for preparing high-quality, freshly-made parathas while maintaining consistency in taste, texture, and presentation. Your role is crucial in delivering excellent culinary offerings and satisfying our customers cravings for authentic parathas.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook parathas according to established recipes and standards, ensuring taste, texture, and quality consistency.
Handle and portion dough, roll out parathas, and cook them on the griddle or tawa using traditional or modern cooking methods.
Monitor cooking temperatures and times to achieve the desired level of crispiness and flavor in parathas.
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of parathas as per customer orders.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the cooking area, following food safety regulations and best practices.
Assist in inventory management, stock rotation, and ordering supplies related to paratha-making ingredients.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to innovate and create new paratha recipes or variations.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Paratha Maker, Tandoor Chef, or similar role in preparing parathas or traditional bread is preferred.
Knowledge of dough preparation techniques and proficiency in rolling and cooking parathas.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining quality and efficiency.
Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods.
