As an IT Support Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our faculty, staff, and students have the necessary technical assistance to support their learning and administrative activities. Your problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and strong communication abilities will be essential in maintaining our IT infrastructure and providing top-notch support.
* Responsibilities:
Respond to IT support requests from faculty, staff, and students in a timely manner.
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other peripherals.
Provide technical assistance for software applications and systems.
Assist in the setup and maintenance of audiovisual equipment for presentations and events.
Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.
Collaborate with IT team members to implement and upgrade systems.
Conduct regular system maintenance, updates, and backups.
* Requirements:
Proven experience as an IT Support Technician or similar role.
Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and troubleshooting techniques.
Familiarity with networking protocols and hardware components.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
