Silver Door Trading has production manager / supervisor position available for experienced, reliable, and self-motivated individuals to run the production facilities cost effectively, efficiently and safely.
Only candidates who have experience in industrial paints, coatings and chemicals will be considered.
Responsibilities:
• Experience in an Industrial (Powder) Coating / Paint Manufacturing Plant or Laboratory.
• Manage the 24x7 production of industrial paints and coatings in a safe and efficient environment and implementing improvements to processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
• Manpower, resource and raw material planning and management
• Production and cost planning and management
• Ensure production equipment is properly maintained and repairs are expedited when equipment downtime is experienced
• Ensuring all production meets quality assurance standards
Requirements
• 2-3 years experience in industrial paints engineering and production.
• Working knowledge of color and composition formulation, tinting and mixing processes
Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication skills fluent in written and verbal English.
• Computer literate.
