The candidate will be responsible for performing the Dev Ops activities - CI/CD and automation of code pipelines, environmental builds - code deployment, environment support and monitoring, participate in release management activities, participate in vendor relationship management activities - internal and external, asset consolidation and management activities, Product life cycle management - including the software, hardware and COTS upgrades as part of the product operations team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage code deployments, fixes, updates and related processes.
- Work with open-source technologies as needed.
- Work with CI and CD tools, and source control such as GIT and SVN.
- Establish Dev Ops Engineer team best practices.
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Engineering Graduate / Masters in IT / Computers.
- 4 + Years of IT experience on Dev Ops
- 3 + Years of continuous integration experience (Jenkins, etc.) with knowledge on groovy scripting.
- experience in Open Shift Enterprise deployments (YAML) OR Docker scripting, bash scripting.
- experience with programmatic interaction with database - MySQL, Oracle, SQL server.
- experience with project management and workflow tools such as Agile, Jira, Work Front, Scrum / Kanban / SAFe, etc.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Java, Java Script, Perl, Ruby, Python, PHP, Groovy, Bash.
- Shift Timing: 11:00 am to 8:30 pm, flexibility for late evening calls from Home, as this role require lot of coordination with US stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- experience in Python
- experience with Dynatrace configuration and Splunk to query the indexes.
