Provide technical supports during production and ensure that department deadlines are met as per the given schedule.
Participate in the Production and Sales coordination meeting on a daily basis.
Overall supervision of the shop floor activities for all jobs to ensure the smooth functioning of the production department.
Attend any emergency jobs assigned by the management in order to meet the business commitment.
Confirm and monitor production execution of all activities on shop floor/subcontractor (if necessary) as per the given schedule, if any deviation takes necessary corrective and preventive actions.
Continually coordinate with Control Engineers / Production Engineers / Stores in charge until the production execution completes.
Maximize productivity by maintaining a cordial working relationship with operatives on a personal level.
Ensure that proper safety and welfare measures are consistently undertaken to safeguard resources and strive to attain congenial working conditions in the Shop Floor.
Maintain discipline and enforce sound housekeeping practices on the shop floor.
Ensure effective coordination and utilization of transport vehicles.
Coordinate with the Quality Dept. In implementing and maintaining ISO-Procedures and other documentation on the production floor.
Ensure judicious employment of workers on overtime with approval of Factory manager.
Performing any other work assigned by the management.
Implement Benchmarking / Continual Improvements.
Ensure proper training of workers to have a multiskilling taskforce.
Ensure the cost of production activities within target limits.
Ensure effective implementation of ISO.
Ensure the right Quality is achieved during stage-wise production for on-time delivery.
Must be B.Tech and or M.tech - non-technical qualified profiles don't apply.
