RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE(EMPLOYMENT HISTORY SUMMARY)

I. Document Controller Officer.
Kendeley Construction Company, Bamenda,– Cameroon.
Period: February 2011 – December, 2016(5 years)
Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receives and registers Client provided document for detail engineering or construction engineering project, including in-house generated document.
• Controls issuance of document numbers, including maintenance of proper document registers for detail engineering or construction engineering project.
• Maintains specifically assigned project database/s.
• Ensures proper document classification, sorting, filing and proper archiving.
• Reviews completeness of documentation and prepares document transmittals.
• Prepares and maintains AFC and As-built photostat books for detail engineering or construction engineering project, either for in-house use or for onward transmittal to Client during project closeout.
• Performs document quality check in accordance to Company engineering document control procedures.
• Performs file backup to ensure proper storage and archiving of electronic registers.
• Prepares engineering project reports, as may be required.
• Coordinate all activities related to the Document Control procedure, including technical documents, drawings, and commercial correspondence.
• Input document data into the standard registers ensuring that the information is accurate and up to date.
• Generate the various document control reports as required.
• Typing of site documents, and follow up of all the site needs
• Makes sure that controlled copies of latest approved documents and drawings are given to the appropriate staff, subcontractors and suppliers as applicable

II. HSE & Security Officer.
Hilton Hotel,Yaounde,– Cameroon.
Period: May 2010 – November, 2010 (6 months)
Achievement: Achieved a total protection and security of the hotel property and surrounding premises, guests, colleagues and their properties.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Developing and implementing HSE procedures, policies, practices and guidelines that are in line with HSE standards.
• Makes regular patrols of all external and internal areas of the hotel and hotel premises.
• Deals with guests' incidents and investigates the same (theft, disturbance, complaints etc).
• Always present in all guests contact areas to provide assistance as required and ensure the safety and security of all guest.
• Provides assistance when required in the opening and closing of secured areas/facilities.
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with the Police, CID and any other official government bodies.
• Provides assistance with requested searches of hotel facilities and personal belongings.
• Provides assistance to ensure that outside suppliers and colleagues taking hotel property outside of the hotel
have the necessary gate pass(es) duly signed.
• Maintain constant vigilance of hotel operation and premises.
• Conduct and supervise internal and external patrols, property walkthrough.
• Conduct daily physical hazard, safety inspections, report irregularities and take necessary actions to minimize hazards, control risks.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Reporting to the Hotel Manager.
• Recommending to the Management on the safe working procedures.
• Conducting regular site safety walk with the senior management and submitting the findings for rectifications.
• Developing and implementing HSE procedures, policies, practices and guidelines that are in conformance with HSE standards.
• Managing medical facilities and all safety equipment.
• Monitoring the entire hotel’s safety while preventing surrounding environmental degradation through environmental monitoring and impact assessment & mitigation.
• Liaising with Government bodies, hospitals and main contractor for effectively attending to emergencies at site.
• Ensuring the fire prevention & firefighting plan is implemented.
• Conducting Inductions & toolbox talks.
• Ensuring that a proper & standard PPE is being procured & provided to the Hotel work force.
• Inspection of ladders & scaffolds in the hotel in case of any maintenance.
• Ensuring that all the mobile plant provided complies with Government regulations.
