During Mcs the administration of Institute BIIT (Barani Institute of Information Technology) allocated me UNODC (United Nation Office for Drug and Crime) module i.e. DADKAS (Drug Addicts Data Keeping & Analysis System). The module had two main parts
1 Data Dumping
In this part of the module data from remote locations of Pakistan (Karachi, Hyderabad, Lahore, Islamabad and many other cities) was dumped in to one centralized location (Islamabad).
Data Analysis
And after successful dumping of the data, Data Analysis process was started. The analysis was performed by means of dynamic creation of different queries (run time) and finally graphical representation of results on the basis of the provided quires either in report format or Graphs.

Numbers of systems were completed during my stay in Al Shifa Trust Eye Hospital. Systems with some brief description are as under.
User Management System: -
This system works same as user creation process of windows 2000 server, i.e. creation of Major User categories (as group), assign different sort of rights (Role) to specific category (Can Add, Can Delete, Can Update and many others) and finally creation of Logins under Major category. This module was very help full as user from one category was bound to interact with the user of other category.
Pharmaceutical System: -
This system is designed to evaluate the consumption of raw Material during the manufacturing of medicines. The system calculates the Loss or Rejection of raw Material and also manages component formulization.
Donation System: -
The purpose of this system is to track the receiving of donation from different donors. This module includes Individual Registration, Organization Registration, Donation Promised (either by individual or by organization) and Dishonored cheque.
Inventory System: -
The purpose of this system is to track stock items, Department’s demands, Quotation process i.e. (Quotation Request, Quotation Received and Comparative statements i.e. selection of supplier on the basis of least bidding), Purchases, Supplier information and Issuance and Returns.
Finance System: -
The purpose of this system is to mange Ledger creation, Chart of accounts up to third level creation, Journal Vouchers, Cash Payments, Cash Receipt and Bank Payments.
Patient Tracking System : -
The purpose of this system is to track the movement of the patients (Indoor Patients, Outdoor Patients). System also mange Patient’s history (according to patient’s visits), Lab Tests, Doctor duty roster.
Reports: - Number of complex reports regarding each system were created using
Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 Reports. and Crystal Reports 9
The whole process of software development accomplished in the environment of Visual Basic 6.0, SQL Server 2000, Windows Client/Server and COM+ .Installation and Configuration of MTS and deployment of COM/DCOM.
Also
Responsible for Data Base Administration (DBA) i.e. installing and configuring SQL Server on new systems, setup and monitor alerts, operators, SQL mail, Linked server connection, DTS, Packages and scheduled jobs that perform backup.
