Communication - Through my employment and education, I have developed excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills. My written and spoken communication in English is very good. These skills play a very important part when dealing with people in all areas. In addition, I have the ability to work on my own initiative, good at problem solving, and have the ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
Teamwork - This skill is needed in all walks of life and has improved over the years within the different areas I have worked. I have learnt many different factors of teamwork, which has involved putting the public first by working together with other colleagues.
Languages - I am able to speak three different languages, English, Urdu and Punjabi, also I intend to learn Spanish and Arabic at evening classes in the near future.
Relevant work benefits - All jobs and work experiences have entailed dealing with the public where a postive and cheerful attitude is crucial.The work at the labs,clinics, surgeries and different departments at the hospital gave me a good insight in how to deal confidently and persuasively with people of all kinds. I have learnt how to work productively as part of a team and have become use to working under pressure, time limits, meeting strict deadlines. The hectic pace of labs, clinics, surgeries, and hospital departments reuired great efficiency and I had handle several jobs, treatments, rules, regulations, prescriptions, at once.
Other Skills - I have a clean current driving license and I am a fully qualifield First Aid with British Red Cross and regular blood donor. I have maintained my knowledge within the Dental field through study, work, CPD short courses within the UK, and by books, journals also being a member of the different associations and the use of the internet have helped me a lot.
