I finished my BS Commerce, major in Accounting at University of San Agustin in Iloilo City, Philippines. My transcript of records would show my excellence in accountancy and active participation in various accounting organizations recognized in the Philippines like the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA) and Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) where I am a member in good standing.
My work experience started right after graduation when I handed two positions in an electric company for almost nine years, as a secretary and an area manager. With my first position, I was able to develop my oral and written communication abilities and created a good filing system as well. While the second, improved my managerial skills.
Upon passing the CPA Licensure Examination in 2000, I decided to broaden my expertise in accounting. My present employment in government enhances my mastery in bookkeeping, budget planning and taxing requirements. I also engage in accounting in the field of education on part-time capacity.
