| My name is Rosalinda N. Balingit, 50 years old and my friends call me Rose. I am a teacher by profession and graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Education at the University of the East, Manila. I had my under graduate Masteral studies at the Philippine Normal University specializing in Early Childhood Education. I am presently unemployed due to age restriction in the field of teaching. At present, I am about to finish my six (6)- month Care Giving Course at the Asia Pacific College of Quezon City. I decided to enroll in this program to land a better and fulfilling job in Care Giving.
During my care giving program, I have learned and developed my skills in caring for people who are not able to care for themselves and enhanced my inter-personal skills. At the program, I have learned the proper care of elderly, children specially those with special needs and physically disabled persons. I also assisted and had training in Basic Life Support (CPR health program) and knows how to do the following to people: vital signs, taking of blood pressure and pulse rate, observing abnormalities and reports patient’s reaction to care being administered. I also bathe the patients, dress and help them eat. Most importantly, I know I am capable of showing them love, care, warmth, security and affection.
With my educational background, I believe and I am confident that I can be a good care giver to your family. I can be a support not only physically but also in mental and emotional aspects. I will treat your family as if my own. In return, you can be assured of my honesty, loyalty, patience, love, sincerity and hard work during my entire employment with you. I am looking forward to working and being part of your family. |
